Bus services 36 and 518 will skip bus stops along Bayfront Ave, Raffles Ave, Raffles Blvd, Temasek Ave and Temasek Blvd due to road closure for the Chingay Parade 2020. The diversion will happen on the following dates: NE Show – Saturday, 18 January 2020, 5pm to Sunday, 19 January 2020, 1am; Parade 1 – Friday, 31 January 2020, 6.30pm to Saturday, 1 February 2020, 1am; and Parade 2 – Sunday, 1 February 2020, 6.30pm to Sunday, 2 February 2020, 1am.

On the eve of Chinese New Year (24 January 2020), the last bus timing for Service 6 will be adjusted to 3pm while the operating hours of City Direct Service 661 will be shifted earlier to 1.10pm and 1.25pm. Both bus services will not be in operation on Monday, 27 January 2020.

Adjustments are made to the timetable of Bus Service 43e on the eve of Chinese New Year (24 January 2020).

The last bus timings for some bus services at Pasir Ris and Punggol Bus Interchanges will be extended on the eve of Chinese New Year, 24 January 2020.

Updates to the distance between affected bus stops and other bus stops will take effect from Sunday, 12 January 2020.

Bus services 2, 12 and 12e will skip bus stops along Eu Tong Sen St and New Bridge Rd due to road closure for the Chinatown Chinese New Year 2020. The diversion will happen on the following dates: Opening Ceremony – Sunday, 4 January 2020, 1pm to 11.59pm; Countdown – Friday, 24 January 2020, 5pm to Saturday, 25 January 2020, 3am; and Chingay Night Fiesta @ Chinatown – Sunday, 2 February 2020, 6pm to 11.59pm.

New fares will be implemented from Saturday, 28 December 2019.
