Go-Ahead Singapore has launched proof-of-concept (POC) trials of ultra-thin solar panels fitted on the roof of the two buses for trial. This is in-line with Go-Ahead Singapore’s continual efforts to be a responsible public transport operator by implementing solutions to support sustainable transportation.
From Sunday, 11 April 2021, the suffix “T” will be added to Service 83 trips terminating at Sengkang Bus Interchange, while trips without suffix “T” will loop back to Punggol Bus Interchange. The route, operating hours and fares will remain unchanged.
Updates to the distance between affected bus stops and other bus stops will take effect from Sunday, 11 April 2021.
Starting from Sunday, 11 April 2021, Service 15 will serve a new pair of bus stops along Pasir Ris Drive 8.
From Monday, 29 March 2021, the first bus timing of Service 43 from the bus stop outside Le Crescendo along Paya Lebar Road (BS 70271) will be brought forward to start at 5.50am on weekdays (except Public Holidays). As such, the first bus timings of the key downstream bus stops will also be adjusted.
There will be adjustments to the last bus timing of Bus Service 6 and the operating hours of City Direct Services 661 and 666 on the eve of Chinese New Year, 11 February 2021. There will be no changes to the operating hours for the morning trips.

2 August 2021, Singapore – Every night, Loyang Bus Depot is a hive of activity. As the more than 450 buses in Go-Ahead Singapore’s fleet return after service, the bus operator’s maintenance crew goes to work checking the vehicles so they are fit for use the next day. About 15 to 20 buses are inspected head-to-toe daily as part of a 28-day maintenance cycle – a process that would have previously involved tasks such as manually checking the air pressure of each tyre, and manually recording mileage readings. But a vehicle health monitoring system installed across Go-Ahead’s fleet last year has eliminated the need for such menial work.
20 June 2021, Singapore – Commuters using Pasir Ris Bus Interchange will be able to enjoy upgraded facilities starting on July 3, including sheltered, barrier-free berths and priority queue zones with seats.
